Designed by Jan O'Neil, Designer for Levin Furniture Store.

Valances were beaded silk in a creamy color. Bottom edge was elaborately scalloped to follow the beaded pattern. Cording was hand stitched along the lower edge.

Pinch pleated silk panels puddled casually on the floor. Over the panels, a flat, beaded silk overlay corded on both sides.

The twisted cord was hand tacked to the bottom of each of the three valances. Because the cord is not smooth, there was undesirable light leakage between the cord and valance when held up against the light. We chose 3/16" piping cord in a neutral color and carefully glued it with trim glue to the back of the valance (not shown). It was laid in the indent between the cord and valance. It added a nice finishing touch to the back of the valance.
