Designed by the Client

Layered Triangle valance over faux roman shade.

The triangle valance is a double layer. The client chose to not interline with blackout in order for the light to show through. The edges of the valanced are microcorded in the gold stripe cut on the straight of grain. The cord is beaded chain weight to give the valance layers weight.

Under the valance is a faux shade. The rings on the shade are spaced so that the folds on the bottom do not stack in a tight stack, but 'fall away,' showing the detail of folds on the bottom. To accomplish this, set the first two rows of rings 5.5" apart. Set each subsequent row 1/2" farther away from the previous row: 6", 6.5", 7", etc.
