Designed by Client

A soft, scalloped cornice. Green 1/4" cording along the bottom edge. All of the panels and cascades have a 4" banded edge of green check fabric.

The room had a large window at the back, twin side windows and a short, window on the front wall which posed some challenges. It was a pretty window with a circular transom. However, it had a wall heating/cooling unit directly below it. Any treatments hung on this window had to be mounted on the frame and could not touch the unit below.

The client wanted panels, but was willing to have cascades on the front window. We decided to create a transition from panels in the back to cascades in the front by designing an asymmetrical look for the side windows, combining panels and cascades.

In her bright, sunny room, the finished window treatments created a stunning statement.

Finally, this close-up of the front window shows the detail of the scalloping on the soft cornice and the impact of the banding on the leading edges of the cascades.
