This
Austrian Swag was fabricated of red poly crinkle fabric. It was interlined
with black sateen.
The
beaded trim along the bottom curves and folds and the flat decorative
banding at the top give it an elegant feel.
The
Austrian swag is very similar to the Boxed swag in shape. It is identified
by the vertical pleats and the close shirring of folds. The vertical pleating
shows off the fabric because of the long short point. This is one of the
simplest swags to pattern and fabricate.
