Traditional swags and cascades with a flair.

These swags are cut on the straight of grain. There is no need to be afraid of cutting swags on the straight of grain if you have a good pattern.

The cascades are not cut on the straight of grain, but with the slant edge following the stripe on the pattern. This gives the cascade a natural banded edge and allows the stripes in the cascade to show all of their color.

For instructions on how to cut these cascades, go to Striped Cascades.

The slant stripes on the cascades complement the gently slanted stripes of the swags.
